As an artist living in this rapidly changing world, I’ve often found myself contemplating the deeper questions of existence. My latest art series, “The Awakening”, emerges from this personal quest to understand not just who we are, but why we are here and what traces we’ll leave behind. Through this work, I invite you to join me in exploring these fundamental questions of human existence.
My Artistic Journey and Philosophy
The seeds of “The Awakening” were planted in my long – standing fascination with Existentialism and its profound question about human existence. As I delved deeper into this philosophy, I discovered how perfectly it aligned with my artistic vision.
I believe that each of us has the potential not just to exist, but to create meaningful change in the world.
This belief, combined with my appreciation for Eastern naturalism, has shaped the core of this series.
When I ask myself, and by extension, you, “Why do we exist in this world?” And “What legacy will we leave behind?”, I’m not seeking simple answers. Instead, I’m inviting us all to embark on a journey of self – discovery and collective reflection.
My Artistic Process and Symbolism

In creating these pieces, I chose Action Painting as my primary technique, a form of Abstract Expressionism that allows me to channel raw emotion and energy directly into the canvas, my body becomes an instrument of expression, recording not just physical movement but the turbulent emotions and thoughts that drive us in our existence.

The gold leaf elements in my work hold special significance for me. I carefully integrate these delicate sheets as a symbols of the wisdom we gain through life’s experiences. The contrast between my vigorous brushwork and the subtle shimmer of gold creates a visual dialogue that mirrors our own internal struggles – between chaos and clarity, between impulse and wisdom.

A Dialogue with Society and Nature
Through this series, I’m not just expressing my personal views; I’m opening a conversation about our collective role in the world. When i work on these pieces, I think about how we are, as humans, interact with our environment and each other. The dynamic brushstrokes reflect not just my movement, but our collective impact on the world – sometimes forceful, sometimes destructive, yet always significant.
I deliberately chose to incorporate elements that question our relationship with nature and society. How do our actions affect the world around us? Can we find a balance between progress and preservation? These are questions I grapple with my work, and i invite you to consider them too.
An Invitation to Awaken
I titled this series “The Awakening” because it represents what i hope to achieve through my art – a collective awakening to our potential for positive change. Each pieces is more than just an artwork; it’s an invitation to engage in a deeper conversation about who we are and who we could become
As I work on these pieces, I often find myself reflecting on questions I’d like to share with you:
- How do you see your role in our interconnected world?
- What changes could arise from a deeper understanding of yourself?
- How might we use our collective wisdom to create a more compassionate and sustainable future?
Personal Reflection
Creating this series has been a profound journey of self – discovery for me, and I hope it can be the same for you. Through each brushstroke and every piece of gold leaf, I’ve attempted to capture not just my own search for meaning, but our collective potential for transformation.
I believe that true awakening isn’t a solitary experience – it’s something we achieve together through dialogue, reflection, and shared understanding. My work is simply an opening to this conversation, a starting point for our collective journey toward greater awareness and positive change.c
I invite you to spend time with these pieces, to let them speak to you, and perhaps to find in them reflections of your own questions and aspirations.
After all, art is not just about what the artist creates – it’s about the dialogue it sparks and changes it inspires in all of us.
How do these pieces speak to you? What questions do they raise in your mind? I’d love to hear your Thoughts and continue this dialogue about our existence, our impact, and our potential for positive change in the world.
